Parent committee

The care provided by 't Koninkrijkje centres around the children and the parents. It is very important that parents are filled with confidence when they bring their children to 't Koninkrijkje. For this reason we find it very important that parents are involved in the decision-making process. The parent committee represents the interests of the children and their parents.

The Parent Committee has regular meetings with the location manager and management. During these meetings important topics, such as policy and staffing, are discussed. Other current topics are also discussed and presented to the Parent Committee, and their advice is sought if needed. Guidelines have been laid down by the law and they have been shaped within the parent committee regulations. Aside from formal matters, the Parent Committee also regularly prepares activities, themes and special days within the childcare centre.

Please contact the location manager if you would like to receive more information about the Parent Committee. New parents are being informed about the Parent Committee during their intake interviews.
